A look at key injuries for each AFC West team heading into Week 13:

For San Diego, tight end Antonio Gates is questionable to play against Oakland on Sunday with a nagging foot injury. He practiced on a limited basis Friday and is hoping to play. The same goes for running back Mike Tolbert, who is nursing a hand injury. Rookie running back Ryan Mathews has practiced all week after missing two games with an ankle injury. Starting receiver Malcom Floyd practiced fully Friday and is questionable to play with a nagging hamstring injury.

For Oakland, middle linebacker Rolando McClain is questionable with arthritis in his foot. Yes, he has arthritis at the age of 21. Very unusual.

Cornerback Chris Johnson is doubtful with a groin injury. Star cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is questionable with an ankle injury that limited him in practice the past two days, but he is expected to play against the Chargers. Defensive lineman Richard Seymour is questionable with a knee injury, but the Raiders are hopeful he can play.

Safety Tyvon Branch and receiver Chaz Schilens (knee, foot) are both questionable, but it might be difficult for them to play.

For Kansas City, standout cornerback Brandon Flowers is questionable to play against Denver on Sunday with a hamstring injury that kept him out of last week’s game. He was limited in practice all week.

For Denver, safety Darcel McBath is out with a quadriceps injury.
