SAN DIEGO – Halftime thoughts from San Diego, where the Raiders lead 21-3:

The Oakland offense looks refreshed. The Raiders are moving the ball and they are making key third- and fourth-down conversions. This is one of offensive coordinator Hue Jackson’s better called games of the season thus far.

Oakland running back Michael Bush is running hard. He had a hard-fought 7-yard run to give the Raiders a 21-3 lead with 4:07 to go in the second quarter. Bush had 104 rushing yards against the Chargers in October and is having more success Sunday.

Oakland fullback Marcel Reese made a great play, hurdling a San Diego defender, on a 22-yard reception in the second quarter. A former receiver, Reese has been a gem for Oakland.

Oakland running back Darren McFadden is still struggling. He has 27 yards on nine carries. He had 16 yards on 18 carries in the past two games, but the Raiders haven’t needed him.
