Both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos have private pre-draft workouts set up with Arizona wide receiver/return man Mike Thomas.

Thomas is expected to be taken in the second or third round of next month's draft. He is projected as a slot receiver and a returner in the NFL. Both the Broncos and the Chiefs are looking for slot receivers. Denver coach Josh McDaniels and Chiefs coach Todd Haley often run multiple-receiver sets.

The 5-foot-8, 195-pound Thomas is known for his blazing speed and has been rising up some draft boards. He has been timed at 4.3 in the 40-yard dash.
