Here are some areas the Oakland Raiders need to focus on after a 39-23 win over Denver:

Recap: Oakland improved to 7-7 with the victory over Denver. The Raiders are barely alive in the AFC West race and they are out of the wild-card hunt. Oakland needs to win its final two games, see Kansas City lose twice (the two teams end the season in Kansas City in Week 17) and see San Diego lose at least once.

Biggest area to fix: health. Standouts Nnamdi Asomugha, Richard Seymour and Shane Lechler were all banged up against Denver. With Peyton Manning and the Colts looming on Sunday, the Raiders will need Asomugha and Seymour or Manning will slice Oakland up. Lechler, a star punter, always gives the Raiders an edge. Oakland needs these players to get healthy quickly.

Biggest area to build on: : tackle for losses. The Raiders had 11 tackles for losses against the Broncos. Oakland has a swarming defense that can take over games at times. Oakland can lose its way on defense and gives up a lot of big plays. This positive trait needs to continue.

What to watch for: The Raiders have to out-will the Colts next week and the Chiefs in Week 17. Both opponents are trying to get to the playoffs as well. No one will lay down for Oakland.
