I’m headed to Kansas City for the Chiefs’ game against Oakland.
While I'll be there to gather material for the Chiefs’ playoff run, there will be some interest on the field. If the Chiefs win, they will be the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs. If the Chiefs lose to Oakland and the Colts beat the Titans, the Chiefs will be the No. 4 seed.
Also, Oakland will be looking to win and finish 8-8 -- finishing .500 for the first time in eight years. If Oakland wins, it will go 6-0 in the AFC West. It would be the first time since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger that a team went undefeated in its division and did not make the playoffs. Oakland went 2-8 outside of the AFC West.
I will also have updates and analysis from the Denver-San Diego game Sunday.
