RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- Just finished some interviews and getting settled at the Chiefs' picturesque training camp facility. The team, which is now practicing just once a day before breaking camp later this week, hits the practice field within the hour. Before then, I will start filing, beginning with a look around the AFC West:

Denver Broncos
It is a friendly competition between the two youngsters vying for Denver's punting gig.

The Broncos might have to get creative with their running back committee with Ryan Torain out for three months. If Denver feels like it needs a veteran it could consider Ron Dayne, who the team cut two years ago.

Kansas City Chiefs
Meet Connor Barth, perhaps the Chiefs' next kicker.

Oakland Raiders
Some youngsters are trying to take advantage of the opportunities in the Raiders' receiver crew.

San Diego Chargers
Linebacker Anthony Waters has been terrific since returning from a knee injury last week.
