KANSAS CITY –- Saturday night was a good night for the AFC West.

The New York Jets beat the Indianapolis Colts in a wild-card round game, meaning the No. 6 seed Jets will play at No.1 seed New England next weekend. If the No. 4 seed Kansas City Chiefs beat visiting Baltimore, the No. 5 seed, Sunday, the Chiefs will go to No. 2 seed Pittsburgh next Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Also, the Jets‘ win means the Chargers have gained another second-round pick as part of the Antonio Cromartie trade. Had the Jets lost, the Chargers would have received a third-round pick from the Jets. The Chargers also have an extra third-round pick from the Charlie Whitehurst trade with Seattle.
