Murphy was reportedly arrested for possession of a drug without a valid prescription, failure to obey a police officer and resisting arrest without violence. The drug was reportedly Viagra.
Murphy, 23, has a combined 75 catches in his first two NFL seasons and he is a big part of Oakland’s plans. He is the third Oakland player to be arrested this offseason. Running back Michael Bush was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving and left tackle Mario Henderson was arrested for a concealed weapon.
