It’s no surprise Akeem Ayers is getting heavy interest from the AFC West.

Denver, Kansas City and San Diego all will look at pass-rushers early in the draft. The versatile Ayers is expected to be a late-first round pick. Ayers can play in both 4-3 and 3-4 defenses. Denver is transitioning to a 4-3 and Kansas City and San Diego use a 3-4 defense.

Ayers visited San Diego and he will visit Denver and Kansas City prior to the draft, according to a source close to UCLA. San Diego has the No. 18 pick and Kansas City has the No. 21 pick. Ayers could be a possibility at both spots. Denver has the No. 2 and No. 36 picks. Ayers would likely be a candidate in Denver if it traded down from No. 2 or traded back into the first round.
