NFC West blogger Mike Sando looked at the challenges West Coast teams have had when playing early games on the East Coast. San Diego has one game scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on East Coast in 2011, while Oakland has six. Most of the Chargers’ games that will be played on the East Coast are prime-time games or late afternoon starts.
- The Chiefs’ website has a look at all the versatile players who the Chiefs drafted last month. Kansas City coach Todd Haley preaches versatility and this group seems to fit wants he wants.
- Mel Kiper released his 2012 big board in an ESPN.com Insider piece. It seems like the draft will be strong for quarterbacks, offensive linemen, cornerbacks and receivers.
