Vick in Kansas City? Don't think so

Can Michael Vick really be an option in Kansas City?

Really, I don't think so.

OK, Kansas City is one of the few teams yet to publicly close the door on Vick, but that's no reason to think Kansas City is a major player for his services. Because of the secretive ways of new general manager Scott Pioli, the Chiefs don't talk about anything.

So silence on the Vick matter has to be expected.

The Chiefs don't have much room for a quarterback, anyway. There's starter Matt Cassel and backups Tyler Thigpen, Brodie Croyle and newly acquired Matt Gutierrez. I just don't see the need in Kansas City for Vick.
