Hall of Fame ceremony will have AFC West feel

Not that I'm trying to dictate your Saturday evening, but try to check out the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductions.

It will have an AFC West flavor.

The late Derrick Thomas and Rod Woodson will be among those inducted Saturday evening.

Thomas was one of the greatest Kansas City Chiefs ever to play. He was a dominant pass-rusher. He will be presented by former Kansas City general manager Carl Peterson.

Thomas, who died in 2000 from injuries sustained in an auto accident, was revered in Kansas City. His induction means the world to the Chiefs organization and to the city of Kansas City.

Woodson had a short tenure in the division with Oakland. But the defensive back had an impact with the Raiders.

These ceremonies are always special and tonight's should be no different.
