Two contracts signed Saturday had to be noticed by folks in the AFC West.

Aaron Curry signed with Seattle for $34 million guaranteed. He was taken fourth. Tyson Jackson was taken third by the Chiefs. Jackson signed a day earlier than Curry did -- for $3 million less guaranteed.

Also, Roddy White signed a big deal in Atlanta. I bet Brandon Marshall noticed this. Marshall wants a pay raise (and a trade from Denver). When healthy, Marshall is good or better than White. But White doesn't have the baggage Marshall carries.

Matt Cassel had just an average day at the Chiefs' scrimmage Saturday.

But rookie kicker Ryan Succop showed nice range. The kid has a real chance.
