Wrapping up a busy Wednesday in the AFC West:

The San Diego Chargers announced their preseason opener against visiting Seattle will be blacked out locally because the game is not a sellout. The Chargers recently warned that there may be some black outs during the season. Perhaps this is a glance of things to come in San Diego.

NFL.com thinks the Raiders are still in the Michael Vick mix. I will believe it when I see it.

There are indications both Dwayne Bowe and Tamba Hali are turning the corner in the Chiefs' camp.

Derrick Brooks left his visit in New Orleans without a contract, but he could still strike a deal. The Raiders have reportedly made contact with Brooks.

Oakland top pick Darrius Heyward-Bey will play Thursday against Dallas, while second-round pick Mike Mitchell won't because of a hamstring injury.

Denver's Brandon Marshall faces a pivotal day in court Thursday.
