After he was officially listed as the No. 2 quarterback behind Kyle Orton on the Broncos’ depth chart on Monday, Tebow took the early second-team snaps. But Quinn got the second-team reps in the two-minute drill.
Then on Tuesday, Tebow took the first second-team snap. He fumbled and Quinn immediately replaced him.
The Denver coaching staff is definitely not treating Tebow, the No. 25 overall pick last year, with kid gloves. They are challenging him. It will be interesting to see who gets most of the second team snaps at Dallas on Thursday night in the preseason opener.
