Oakland receiver Chaz Schilens is week-to-week after injuring his knee against Arizona on Thursday. Schilens has been hampered by injuries his entire career. This one doesn’t appear serious, but it is more time away from the practice field for a player who is expected to contribute. That’s why it’s so important that fifth-round pick Denarius Moore is having a special camp.

Oakland Safety Hiram Eugene had surgery on his hip that he injured Thursday. There is a chance he will be put on the injured reserve, which would end his season. Eugene is a key backup and a special teams standout.
Samson Satele continued to get the first-team repetitions at center. Rookie Stefen Wisniewski is working at guard and with the second team at center. If the Raiders’ offensive line is best served to have Satele at center and Wisniewski at guard, they should move on that direction.
