The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly agreed to terms with veteran tight end Anthony Becht. He didn’t play in the NFL last season. Becht did play for four NFL teams between 2000-09. He has 185 career catches. Becht will have to prove himself in the next nine days to make the 53-man roster.

Oakland kicker Sebastian Janikowski is showing off a huge leg in training camp. I would not be surprised if we see him set a new field goal record. The record is 63 yards. I just don’t see him trying many more 76-yarders again, though.

Oakland coach Hue Jackson has been raving about the blazing speed of fourth-round pick Taiwan Jones. It will be fun to see Jones play in the rest of the preseason. I could see the Raiders designing some third-down packages for Jones. An offense with Jones, Darren McFadden and Jacoby Ford on the field will cause headaches for defensive coordinators everywhere.

The Chiefs’ defensive front is coming together.
