Oakland coach Hue Jackson didn’t have an update Tuesday on receiver Jacoby Ford (hamstring) and safety Michael Huff (groin). They both were hurt Monday at Denver and they couldn’t finish the game.
  • Matt Williamson thinks Corey Liuget is a perfect fit in San Diego. I agree. I think we’ll see big things from the Chargers’ first-round pick this season. Also, as part of his weekly rookie watch, Williamson continues to laud Denver linebacker Von Miller.
  • As expected, the Chargers signed defensive end Ogemdi Nwagbuo. He was earlier in the month. Starting defensive end Luis Castillo is out for an extended period of time with a broken leg. Nwagbuo is a quality player and he will fit in well in the Chargers’ rotation.
  • After a shaky start in Denver, here is another ESPN video debate on whether or not it’s time to start Tim Tebow in Denver. Folks, expect such talk to intensify if the Broncos continue to falter on offense.
