The Kansas City Chiefs fell out of the top five in ESPN.com’s LuckWatch.
However, the Denver Broncos are No. 4 in this installment of the watch that targets teams that have the best current chances to end up with the No.1 overall pick and the right to take Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck. He is considered the best NFL prospect in years.
The watch wonders if there is any way Denver leader John Elway would pass on the chance to take his fellow Stanford star quarterback. Let’s clear this up right now: If Denver gets the No. 1 pick, Luck is moving to the Rockies.
Because they have shown recent life and have a fairly easy upcoming schedule, the Chiefs -- who like the Broncos are 1-3 -- are off the list for now.
The LuckWatch is just beginning and it may end up being as fun as any race in the NFL this year.
