Poll results: Big Raiders' moment

We had our closest AFC West poll to date.

In the end, though, voters believed that the Oakland Raiders’ upset over the host Houston Texans on the final play of the game was, indeed, the biggest regular-season win in team history.

The win came a day after the death of legendary owner Al Davis. The team was emotional afterward and the emotion continued when the team arrived home from the airport as about 500 fans were waiting at the Raiders' facility late Sunday night.

I think it was the biggest moment in regular-season history. The emotion of the story is incredible.

Yet, our vote was close. As of 3:25 p.m. ET Wednesday, 51 percent of the voters believe it was the biggest win in team regular-season history. Forty-nine percent of those responding think there are other bigger moments in the franchise’s regular season. Please check out the comments section in this post to read other thoughts about the biggest moments in team history. Nearly 6,000 votes were tallied.

Thanks to everyone for playing along.
