AFC West notes

10/20/2011

Kansas City coach Todd Haley told reporters Thursday that first-round pick Jonathan Baldwin will be a game-time decision Sunday at Oakland. He is healthy, but the team wants to make sure he is ready to play. He has not played since hurting his thumb in a reported fight with teammate Thomas Jones two months ago

  • The Raiders received an extension until Friday to avoid a blackout. Their three previous home games this season have been sold out.

  • Oakland kicker Sebastian Janikowski was limited in practice Thursday with a hamstring injury.

  • Denver owner Pat Bowlen has stepped down from being part of the NFL labor committee. He’s been through some nasty negotiations in his day, including this year’s lockout.
