Poll results: Blame it on Turner

Not surprisingly, many readers put the blame for the San Diego Chargers' poor season on coach Norv Turner.

Our poll question this week asked what was most at blame for the Chargers’ 4-7 record and current six-game losing streak. The options were Turner, general manager A.J. Smith, quarterback Philip Rivers' poor season or the Chargers’ load of injuries.

As of 7:40 p.m. ET Wednesday, 43 percent of the voters believe Turner is at fault, while 25 percent blame Smith, 23 percent blame Rivers and nine percent blame the injuries. More than 7,000 votes were cast.

I expected Turner to get the most votes. And I also expect San Diego ownership to fire him unless he leads a miraculous San Diego playoff run. Thanks to everyone who responded.
