As of Friday afternoon, the Chiefs did not make any contact with receiver Bobby Wade, according to an NFL source. Wade was cut by Minnesota on Thursday. He played for Chiefs coach Todd Haley in Chicago. The Chiefs need veteran receivers.

Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie didn’t get fined for his latest Twitter endeavor.

Oakland running Justin Fargas was limited Friday in practice with a hamstring injury in preparation for Monday night’s game against San Diego. Chargers left tackle Marcus McNeill was limited with a hand injury.
