As of 7:30 p.m. ET, 64 percent of the votes tallied believe the 12-4 Steelers will win, while 36 percent of the votes tallied were in favor of Denver winning. Yes, it is an overwhelming amount. But I thought the voting was going to be even more heavily tilted in Pittsburgh’s favor.
The Broncos are 8-8 and have lost three games in arrow. Denver is 3-5 at home this season and quarterback Tim Tebow is struggling. Still, the Steelers have a lot of injuries, so perhaps Denver can hang with them. Still, the odds aren’t in their favor.
The good folks have spoken. They have given the Denver Broncos a better chance of beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in a wild-card game in Denver that I thought they would.
