DENVER -- We have a stunner here, folks.
Denver is controlling this game and it is doing so on offense.
After playing terribly for the past two games, Denver quarterback Tim Tebow has playing well.
Tebow is 5-of-11 passing for 185 yards. He was 0-for-2 in the first quarter.
Pittsburgh outgained Denver 119-8 in the first quarter. The second quarter has usually been Denver’s worst quarter this season. It dominated Pittsburgh in the quarter Sunday.
The Steelers have suffered several injuries and appear to be totally out of sync.
Denver did get some bad news. Receiver Eric Decker was lost with a knee injury. The team announced shortly after the injury that he will not return to the game. That may indicate it is serious.
Otherwise, though, everything is going for the way of the 8-8 Broncos.
