The Kansas City Chiefs are looking at rookie quarterback prospects.
This might be the right time for the Chiefs to draft a quarterback to develop to be a future starter. Presumed starter Matt Cassel turns 30 in May. It may be time to think of the future. Also, coach Romeo Crennel recently said the team doesn’t have any pressing holes and it can draft the best player. So, taking a quarterback may make sense.
Texas A&M’s Ryan Tannehill would probably require a trade up from No. 11. However, the three other quarterbacks in our poll -- Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins, Oklahoma State’s Brandon Weeden and Arizona State’s Brock Osweiler -- may be available in the second round. Kansas City has the No. 44 pick in the draft.
Please take our poll and pick whom you think is the best fit for the Chiefs. Explain your reason why for your choice in the comment section below. We will review the poll results Wednesday.
