We should see Terrelle Pryor's first extensive playing time in an Oakland Raiders’ uniform on Monday night against Dallas in a game broadcast on ESPN.
Pryor will likely play extensively in the second half. It will be one of the more interesting things to watch against Dallas even though he is the No. 3 quarterback and he will likely remain the No. 3 quarterback for the immediate future.
Pryor was picked in the third round of the supplemental draft last summer. He didn’t play in the preseason after joining the Raiders and he played just one play in the regular season.
I don’t see his playing time increasing any time soon in the regular season. He has been far behind No. 2 quarterback Matt Leinart in camp. Pryor has been uneven in camp so far. He has ability, but because he is raw, he has had difficulty staying consistent.
I’m sure we will see Pryor make some nice throws Monday night, but there will also likely be some ducks. The key for Pryor is getting game repetitions and he should start that process Monday.
