The Kansas City Chiefs became the first AFC West team to cut down to 75 players. The deadline is Monday afternoon. Every team must be down to 53 players Friday.
There were no shockers here, although some of the names that stick out are receiver Jeremy Horne, fullback Shane Bannon and safety Caleb Campbell. None were expected to be contributors, though. Horne has been a camp star for the Chiefs in the past, but there was just no room for him. Here is the complete list of the Chiefs’ 14 cuts made Sunday.

If Sebastian Janikowski’s groin injury requires him to miss some time, perhaps Oakland could be interested in Billy Cundiff, who was cut by the Ravens. Janikowski injured his groin Saturday night against Detroit.
Yes, Terrell Owens is available again. No, I still don’t think he is a fit for the Raiders. Carry on.
