Here are some areas the San Diego Chargers need to focus on after a 38-10 home win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday:

Recap: The Chargers improved to 2-0 with an outstanding team effort. The Chargers completely handled the overmatched Titans. Norv Turner’s teams have always taken time to heat up, but the Chargers are clicking in September this year.

Biggest area to fix: We’re nitpicking here, because the Chargers were so good, but they do need to finish in pass-rushing situations. The Chargers didn’t have any sacks Sunday, but they did provide a lot of pressure. Finishing sacks needs to happen though.

Biggest area to build on: Time of possession. A prime example of the total team effort was the fact that the Chargers held the ball for 43 minutes, 39 seconds. The Chargers ran 71 plays compared to the Titans’ 40. Turner called the disparity a credit to the San Diego defense, but it was a symbol of the total domination by San Diego.

What to watch for: The Chargers host Atlanta next week and they will be the best team San Diego faces in the first three weeks. If San Diego can come away with a win, they’d be flying high.
