UT-San Diego reports the Chargers did not sign cornerback Chris Carr after a workout Tuesday. I could see Oakland showing interest. The Raiders are looking for cornerbacks because of major issues at the position.
The Raiders waived long snapper Nick Guess. He was signed as insurance for Jon Condo last week. But Condo recovered from a concussion he suffered in Week 1 against the Chargers.
The Broncos put rookie offensive lineman Philip Blake on the injured reserve for a thumb injury. Denver promoted center C.J. Davis and signed guard Adam Grant to the practice squad.
