There appears to be good news regarding Oakland Raiders’ starting receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Heyward-Bey is in stable condition in an Oakland-area hospital where he will stay overnight for observation.
Heyward-Bey was carted off the field with a neck injury after taking a nasty hit from Pittsburgh safety Ryan Mundy in the Raiders’ 34-31 victory.
