Here are some areas the Denver Broncos need to focus on after a 31-25 home loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday:

Recap: The Broncos lost their second straight game by six points. The Broncos fell behind big, but 14 points in the fourth quarter were not enough as they fell to 1-2.

Biggest area to fix: Dropped passes. The Broncos appeared to have, at least, six dropped passes Sunday. Demaryius Thomas had three dropped passes. Peyton Manning needs more from his receivers. It has to get better.

Biggest area to build on: The Broncos played well on both sides of the ball in the fourth quarter for the past two weeks. It didn’t help Denver win either game. But finishing strong will pay off eventually.

What to watch for: The Broncos hope to end their two-game losing streak against visiting Oakland, which is led by former Denver defensive coordinator Dennis Allen.
