One guy to watch

One player to watch for each AFC West team in Week 5;

Denver Broncos, center Dan Koppen: He probably never thought he'd be in this situation but Koppen is going to New England as Peyton Manning's center. For many years, Koppen snapped the ball for Tom Brady but was signed by Denver after Week 1. He took over the starting job after Broncos center J.D. Walton broke his ankle against Oakland. He is expected to be out for the season.

Kansas City Chiefs, quarterback Matt Cassel: We’re keeping this one simple. Cassel is on the hot seat after throwing three interceptions last week against San Diego as the Chiefs fell to 1-3. If Cassel falters against Baltimore, the calls for his benching will become even louder. He must step up.

San Diego Chargers, receiver Robert Meachem: The Chargers offense needs a boost and Meachem needs to step up when they travel to face his former team, the Saints. He signed a lucrative contract with San Diego this offseason. Meachem has not done much for the Chargers. He has six catches and he has been shut out in two games. Facing his former team is a perfect time for Meachem to start paying off for San Diego. Overall, San Diego’s receivers aren’t producing. According to ESPN Stats & Information, Sam Diego receivers have 30 catches and 75 yards after the catch, which are both last in the NFL.

Oakland is on its bye this week.
