The classic Tom Brady-Peyton Manning rivalry is starting a new chapter Sunday in New England.

Manning will be coming to town as a Denver Bronco after battling Brady for so long as a member of the Indianapolis Colts. Let’s look at some key numbers (courtesy of the masters at ESPN Stats & Information) as we prepare for this matchup:

They have met 12 times. Brady has an 8-4 advantage; however, Manning has come on strong. He has won four of the past six meetings after starting 0-6 against Brady.

Including the postseason, the past five Brady-Manning matchups have been decided by a touchdown or less.

Including the postseason, Manning is just 2-8 at New England. He has thrown 22 interceptions there compared to 18 touchdowns.

Manning has completed 61.6 percent of his passes for an average of 290.3 yards with 24 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. He has been sacked 24 times in games against Brady. Brady has completed 66.4 percent of his passes for an average of 236.3 yards with 22 touchdowns and 12 interceptions and he has been sacked 15 times in matchups against Manning.
