Thanks to the fine folks at ESPN Stats & Information, here is one key statistic for each AFC West team going into Week 8:

Denver

The Broncos have been the NFL’s best team in the fourth quarter this season. They have outscored opponents, 79-6, in the quarter. It has a scoring margin of plus-73 in the quarter. The next best fourth-quarter scoring margin in the league is the Giants at plus-36.

Kansas City

Brady Quinn is the Chiefs’ new starting quarterback. He has not fared well in the NFL. Quinn is 3-10 as a starter. He has thrown 10 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions as a starter while competing just 53.2 percent of his passes.

Oakland

The Raiders have to hope they get the games into the hands (or foot) of kicker Sebastian Janikowski. The Raiders’ last three victories, dating back to Week 16 of last season, have come on game-winning field goals by Janikowski. That includes a win at Arrowhead Stadium last December. Oakland play at Kansas City on Sunday.

San Diego

The Chargers start fast and end slow. San Diego’s first-quarter point differential of plus-35 is the highest in the NFL. However, the Chargers have been terrible in the fourth quarter in the past two weeks in games they blew. San Diego has been outscored 31-0 in the fourth quarter with six turnovers in the past two games.
