UPDATE: The Denver Post reports Porter had a seizure in August and he is dealing with the affects. The team said a report that he had vertigo is incorrect.
Denver cornerback Tracy Porter did not practice Thursday because of a lingering illness that held him out of Week 6. Porter did practice on a limited basis Wednesday. If Porter can’t play Sunday against his former team, New Orleans, Chris Harris and Tony Carter will likely have increased roles as they did against the Chargers in Week 6. Both Harris and Carter scored touchdowns as Denver came back from a 24-0 deficit at halftime to win, 35-24.
The fact that he missed practice Thursday is significant. We should have more clarity on his availability for the game Friday.
