Kansas City running back Peyton Hillis is going to be listed as probable on the injury report Friday, coach Romeo Crennel said. Hillis is poised to play Sunday against Oakland after sitting out the past three games with an ankle injury.

Ron Jaworski looks at the top 10 defensive players who scare quarterbacks. Denver linebacker Von Miller is No. 9 on the list and is the only AFC West representative.

In a Grantland piece that ranks the watchability of NFL teams, only the Broncos rank highly. In fact, the other three teams in the division rank pretty badly.

It’s been a long time since the Chiefs have had help from a quarterback they drafted.

Peyton Manning is putting down roots in Denver.

The Raiders responded to Tamba Hali’s claims this week that Oakland is a dirty team.

San Diego receiver Vincent Brown may need another month before he comes back from a broken ankle he suffered in August. The Chargers can use the promising receiver.

The Raiders aren’t blaming an offseason knee injury for the way Shane Lechler’s punting numbers are down, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Lechler will be a free agent at the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if the Raiders, who’ll have lot of needs, will make a huge play to keep him.
