Is the AFC West race over?
No, of course not. Three are nine weeks remaining in the regular season. However, according to our AFC West poll this week, the race is over.
We asked if Denver is in control of the division. The Broncos are 4-3. Oakland and San Diego are 3-4 and Kansas City is 1-6.
As of 5:45 p.m. ET Wednesday, 83 percent of voters believe Denver is in control of the division, while just 17 percent believe the race is still on.
I think the race is still on. Yes, Denver is in first place and it currently looks like the best team in the division. But there’s still plenty of time left. Thanks to everyone who played along.
