More than a week after looking at former second-round pick Langston Walker, the desperate Oakland Raiders brought him back.

Fullback Oren O’Neal was waived after he injured his ankle. He will likely receive an injury settlement. O’Neal was a starter and a team favorite but he fell out of favor.

Even though the massive Walker doesn’t fit Oakland’s zone-blocking scheme, he was signed. Walker was recently cut by Buffalo. He was drafted by Oakland in 2002. The Raiders have suffered several injuries on the offensive line and the unit has not been strong. Walker will likely get a chance for significant playing time at right tackle once he shakes off the rust.
