San Diego running back Ryan Mathews' disappointing career has taken another rough turn.
Mathews broke his left clavicle Sunday and is out for the season. He broke his right clavicle in the first preseason game and missed the first two games of the season. Now, he’ll miss the final two games of the season.
Mathews had 685 yards this season and averaged 3.8 yards per carry. He didn’t have a 100-yard game all year. Mathews, the No. 12 pick of the 2010 draft, has been injury-prone his entire NFL career.
What do you expect from Mathews the rest of his career? Do you think he can become a premier running back or do you think he will continue to be injury-prone and never develop?
