Peyton Manning’s comeback has caught the imagination of the NFL fan.
Fan voting for the Pro Bowl -- the team will be announced Wednesday night, 7 ET -- closed this week. In his first season with Denver, Manning was the leading vote getter in the NFL. Manning is a candidate to win the NFL MVP award after missing all of last season with a neck injury.
Manning will surely make the Pro Bowl next week. Fan voting counts for a third of the vote, along with player and coaches votes.
Denver teammates, cornerback Champ Bailey and linebacker Von Miller, were also the leading AFC vote getters at their positions. Oakland kicker Sebastian Janikowski was also the leading vote getter at his position.
