Here is the participation report from Wednesday for both San Diego and Denver for Sunday's game.
The Chargers have some interesting situations developing.

Running back LaDainian Tomlinson, cornerback Antonio Cromartie and left tackle Marcus McNeill all did not practice. Tomlinson and Cromartie were injured in Sunday's loss to Carolina. McNeill did not play against Carolina. Tomlinson said earlier in the week he would play at Denver despite his toe injury. Also, tight end Antonio Gates was limited by a hip injury, not his nagging left big toe injury. He suffered the hip injury against the Panthers.

For Denver, center Tom Nalen practiced on a limited basis after having his second knee surgery of the summer last month. He may be a couple of weeks from playing.

Below is the participation list for both teams.

Chargers (Player, Injury, Wednesday Participation): Shawne Merriman, LB ,knee, out - IR; Antonio Cromartie, CB, hip, did not participate; Marcus McNeill, T, neck, did not participate; LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, toe, did not participate; Antonio Gates, TE, hip, limited participation; Nick Hardwick, C, foot, limited participation; Jamal Williams, DT, knee, full participation.
