Random notes from the Chiefs’ first win of the season:
  • The Chiefs have loved Ryan Succop since they drafted the kicker with the final pick in the draft and they really loved him Sunday. Succop kicked four field goals, including two 46-yarders in the Chiefs’ 14-6 win over the Redskins.
  • Chiefs running back Larry Johnson ran better Sunday than he has all season and he finished with 83 yards.
  • Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassel hasn’t thrown an interception in the past four games.
  • Kansas City receiver Dwayne Bowe had a nice game as he had six catches for 109 yards
  • Just wondering: If defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey is being dangled in a trade, what could the Chiefs get for him? Gaines Adams was the No. 4 pick in 2007 and Tampa Bay shipped him to Chicago for a second-rounder. Dorsey was the No. 5 pick in 2008. If the Chiefs can’t get a first-rounder for him, he shouldn’t be dealt.
