Report: Broncos prep for post-Dumervil era

The Denver Post reports the Broncos likely won’t cut pass-rusher Elvis Dumervil until a replacement is secured. And many are considering former Indianapolis Colts pass-rusher Dwight Freeney as the top candidate to replace Dumervil.

The newspaper also reports the Broncos are interested in Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

In other AFC West notes:

Raiders tight end Brandon Myers continues to be connected to reports he'll end up in Cleveland. It's obvious Oakland could have a tough time keeping him.

CBS Sports is reporting defensive end Chris Canty is visiting the Ravens. He visited the Chiefs a couple of weeks ago.
