Player: Philip Rivers, San Diego
Yards: 2,036
What does it mean: Rivers is pulling away from Kyle Orton.
RUSHING YARDS
Player: Knowshon Moreno, Denver
Yards: 420
What does it mean: Moreno didn’t play well in Week 8. But he still leads the division chase.
RECEIVING YARDS
Player: Vincent Jackson, San Diego
Yards: 664
What does it mean: Jackson is third in the NFL in this category.
TACKLES
Player: Kirk Morrison, Oakland
Tackles: 70
What does it mean: Morrison is second in the NFL in this category.
SACKS
Player: Elvis Dumervil, Denver
Sacks: 10
What does it mean: Dumervil is second in thin category after not getting a sack Sunday.
