Larry Johnson's foray into free agency is starting to get the Michael Vick feel.

There are more teams saying “no, thank you” than there are teams that are actively considering the controversial Johnson, who was cut loose by Kansas City on Monday.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, teams that were considered fits for Johnson are saying they are not interested. Teams such as Houston, Chicago, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Washington and San Francisco are all reportedly planning not to pursue Johnson.

During the summer, after Vick was reinstated, nearly every team in the league expressed no interest in the quarterback before the Eagles signed him.

Johnson will likely get a second chance as well. But it’s clear several teams are weary of him.

Johnson has a long history of off-field issues. It wasn’t easy for Vick to get back into the league after his conviction for dogfighting and it seems Johnson may be having the same struggle.
