John Couch from Wamego, Kan., wants to know if Brian Waters is still a leader in Kansas City:

Bill Williamson: When I was at the Chiefs' training camp last week, one of the first things I noticed was Waters tutoring young left tackle Branden Albert as they walked off the practice field. Waters is still very much a leader on this offense. Yes, he may have asked for a trade, but the bottom line is he is still with the team. Waters may not be thrilled to be in Kansas City, but he is a professional and he will work hard and work with the youngsters as long as he is there.

Steve from Denver wonders if the Broncos would ever trade Brandon Marshall to the, gulp, Raiders.

BW: I don't see any way of that happening, Steve. First of all, Denver does not want to trade Marshall this year. The Broncos will only do it if they are blown away by an offer. That hasn't happened yet. Now, if Oakland, which needs receivers, blew away the Broncos with an offer, I could see them being tempted. But still, it would be very difficult for Denver to pull the trigger on that deal.

Robert Lindsay from Moscow, Idaho, wants to know if I think Oakland punter Shane Lechler is worthy of making the Pro Football Hall of Fame:

BW: The words "worthy" and "punters" are tricky to define when it comes to the Hall of Fame. Punters simply have a near impossible time getting into the Hall of Fame. Ray Guy, a former Oakland great, is having a very difficult time getting in. He gets on the list of finalists but he can never make the final step. Sadly, some voters simply won't vote for a kicking specialist. There is a long logjam of players who played every down. I just don't see many punters getting in. Lechler is great, but Guy was an all-timer. If Guy can't get in, neither will Lechler.
