DENVER -- Random thoughts from Denver's 16-13 win over Tampa Bay:

  • The Denver pass protection is terrific. The Tampa Bay pass defense, which is strong, never got close to Denver quarterback Jay Cutler. Denver has allowed just two sacks all season.
  • Sunday's score was the exact result of Denver's win at Tampa Bay in 2004, the last time these two teams played.
  • Denver's high-flying offense had just one play over 20 yards, a 33-yard reception by tight end Tony Scheffler.
  • Denver's offense didn't commit a turnover against Tampa Bay. It was credited with four turnovers against Kansas City in last week's loss.
  • The Broncos have scored in 250 consecutive games. It's the longest active streak in the NFL.
  • The Broncos are going for their 400th all-time win next week against Jacksonville.
  • Denver coach Mike Shanahan became the 17th coach to win 150 career games.
