McFadden practicing in Oakland

Good news for the Raiders. Darren McFadden looks to be making strides.

The Oakland Tribune is reporting McFadden is practicing Wednesday in preparation for Sunday's game at New Orleans. He has been hampered since Week 2 with a turf toe injury. Last time McFadden was at full speed, he tore up Kansas City for 164 yards rushing.

With Justin Fargas likely returning Sunday, the Raiders' running game may be at full strength for the first time in a month. That's a good way to start the Tom Cable era. Fargas suffered a groin injury at Buffalo in Week 3,

Meanwhile, the Raiders looked at several defensive linemen this week, including veterans Jason Babin and Patrick Chukwurah.
