San Diego linebacker Shawne Merriman didn’t practice for the second straight day because of a foot injury as the Chargers prepare to play at Tennessee on Friday. Center Nick Hardwick practiced fully for the second straight day and is expected to play for the first time since Week 1.
- Tampa Bay was awarded receiver Mark Bradley off waivers. He was cut by Kansas City on Tuesday. Cleveland also put in a claim on Bradley.
- Denver receiver Eddie Royal has a neck/head injury he suffered against Oakland and he did not practice Wednesday. Linebacker D.J. Williams didn’t practice with an ankle injury. Running back Correll Buckhalter was limited because of an ankle injury. He didn’t play against Oakland, but he may be making progress toward playing against the Eagles, his former team, Sunday.
- Defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey (knee), cornerback Brandon Flowers (shoulder) and guard Brian Waters (hamstring) were all limited in practice for Kansas City on Wednesday.
